About Teri Jensen

I have over 20 years underwriting experience, and as Sr underwriter/manager 5+ years. I have worked in both retail and wholesale mortgage businesses. At Graystone Mortgage, I work as a remote FHA/VA underwriter. Besides underwriting FHA, VA, USDA, UHC and Chenoa loans, and I also underwrite conventional and jumbo loans. During my years at Graystone, every time they gave out quarterly underwriting awards for quantity and quality, I won both awards. I also have not had any post-closing issues with files I underwrote at any firm.I am a self-starter, detail-oriented, goal-oriented and enthusiastic which is demonstrated by my job history and experience. I am able to rapidly learn and adapt to any new underwriting system and guidelines. In a new position I will quickly go from the person asking questions to the person answering questions. I also have demonstrated the ability to teach and supervise other underwriters in a manner that helps them improve their quality of work and customer satisfaction.
