ABOUT TERHAN L. FREEMAN

There is no question that higher education is an incredible instrument providing opportunity and advancing our world. As a compassionate, committed business executive and director of campus administration, I coordinate the operations, academic affairs, and strategic direction of Remington College with pride and excellence. With an MBA in organizational management and an infinite curiosity for learning, I am a specialist in executive training, development, and leadership and a trusted partner to the community, corporations, and institutions I serve. In my current role as campus president, I lead fundraising activities, design innovative programs, and deftly manage resources. I have joined forces with all department heads and the program managers of medical, allied health, cosmetology, and criminal justice programs to discuss future initiatives. I have directed the safety department’s implementation of security cameras and active shooter trainings, designed sexual prevention seminars, and authorized governmental enrollment agreements for the financial aid department while networking partnerships with small business leaders to place students in careers. I also initiated COVID-19 pandemic safety protocols, transitioning students to virtual learning and hybrid courses, training staff regarding remote teaching techniques, and instituting campus health checks. Some other accomplishments of note include: Achieving 100% with the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) metrics in every category, including student numbers, placement, and graduation rates. Introducing state-of-the-art programs and conquering important student issues such as transportation, childcare, and homelessness. Providing job-related skills training and education in collaborative and inclusive learning environments. Being awarded “Teacher of the Year” 2 years in a row while generating $6.5M in new revenue with 100% faculty retention and 70%+ completion in all programs.
