As the CEO of CytoAgents, I lead a team of world-renowned clinical drug development experts and scientific advisory board members who are at the forefront of groundbreaking solutions for treatment of life-threatening symptoms associated with Cytokine Release Syndrome (CRS), an overreaction of the immune system causing systemic inflammation. There are many causes of CRS and our mission is to develop a broadly accessible treatment for multiple indications of high unmet need.Using a novel approach by calming the natural immune response to a multi organ disease, CytoAgents lead drug candidate, GP1681, is positioned to become a new best practice in medicine.In addition, I serve as a Board Member at St. Clair Hospital, a highly regarded healthcare institution with leading quality metrics in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. As a member of the Quality and Safety Committee, I partner with other healthcare leaders to optimize care delivery, quality, and patient safety. I also serve as a member of the Community Outreach Committee and Medical Staff Development, focusing on the needs of the community and medical staff.As an investor, I have played a leading role in building cutting-edge life sciences companies and bringing innovative products to market. I have sourced, funded, and guided several firms from startup to exit.
