Reporting to the Assistant Director, Collections & Content Management Systems, the Digital Preservation Manager provides leadership across the Getty community for the preservation and long-term accessibility to the institution’s digital assets. These assets include research datasets, collection metadata, images, audio and visual materials, software code, business data, and born-digital assets. The person in this position also serves as the system administrator for Rosetta (the digital preservation system) and Feith (the records management system) which includes directing platform upgrades, enhancements to support staff-side operations and the usability of public interfaces, and metadata best practices for reuse and packaging.
