Seen as a catalyst for business, leadership, and cultural transformation in both private and public sectors through all phases of the organizational lifecycle. A compassionate, curious leader who can see the whole system, engage diverse individuals and perspectives that challenge my own through connected conversations, co-creation, and changes to the system by balancing tensions and paradoxes and generating adaptive, dignified spaces that enable others to develop, lead, and collectively work towards shared goals that sustainably benefit the whole. I have a deep passion for collaboration and learning and a keen interest in how individuals and organizations develop the capability to interpret an evolving and complex environment to take effective action. A current question we are answering in the City is how we design the organization for human flourishing which applies to our employees and the community we serve. Selected Results:• Navigated the challenges of the pandemic and led the Future of Work initiative for the City of Fort Collins.• Work regionally on issues related to hiring and retaining diverse talent.• Sponsor six employee resource groups on inclusion and belonging; received a 100 on the Municipal Equality Index.• Reimagined compensation and benefits to attract and retain talent.• Transformed the City’s talent management system to focus on centralized talent acquisition and development strategies.• Partnered with the Agilent CEO and CHRO to develop a leadership bench to fill 90% of all senior openings from within, including the successful promotion of two CEOs and their new executive teams for the 2014 company split.• Designed a unique Agilent Leadership Effectiveness Audit profiled by Corporate Executive Board, which used employee input (91% participation) to rate leaders who scored in the top external quartile (70% favorable).• Created an Agilent leadership development curriculum thematically cascaded from executives to new hires as a critical driver of significant improvements in revenue growth, operating profit, customer loyalty and satisfaction, and TSR relative to S&P 500 for healthcare, industrial, and IT indices.• Named one of the top executive HR practitioners by the Best Practice Institute, a top leadership development practitioners by Leadership Excellence, and profiled in CLO Magazine and Profile.My leadership DNA is “Love and Integrity in Action: Taking Care of the In-Between to Deliver Results.” I derive fulfillment when my words and actions are aligned to a deeper purpose, and results are accomplished.
