The Pillar foundation is a non profit organization created specifically for the SOF Spouse and her needs as the pillar of the family. Special Operation Spouses face new challenges after retirement from the military. Our common goal is to provide respite and resources that are already available as well as create new resources geared towards individual needs. We will host \"refreshers\" or retreats in different parts of the country. Each refresher will have 5-10 participants over a weeks time. By conducting extensive interviews before the refreshers, we will begin to understand further what each individual needs for the health of the family. Ideally each refresher will be local to the participant (ex. Texas, Southeast, So. California, etc) enabling the women to leave the event with a new sense of community, one they feel like they may have lost since their family transitioned out of the military community. Further more, we offer numerous resources to promote personal and professional development. Our STEPS program meets the spouses where they are in their stage of life and provides many resources for growth, learning, and healing. To donate please visit
