Having started in Quality Assurance I have an eye for details and am able to troubleshoot issues and quickly identify areas of improvements in processes. While moving into Release Management and becoming a Senior Release Engineer I developed effective communication skills, became a strong leader on my team, and was able to mentor other team members to foster their professional growth. I was responsible for developing processes for safely and effectively releasing our product to production.With these skills I have been able to build upon I have been able to successfully transition into a Product Development Manager and onto a Senior position as my team builds, maintains, and supports our CI/CD tooling. I am dedicated to supporting my team and providing them with the tools and knowledge they need to be successful.I am eager to continue to learn and improve both leadership and technical skills.    As a Senior Engineering Manager, I serve as leader on our Build, Test, and Release team focused on building, maintaining, and supporting our CI/CD system. I ensure the effective coordination and optimization of behavior across a diverse teams and provided technical oversight. I provide guidance while also managing team members to ensure effective team functioning and product development. I provide oversight of product development processes and our development team, I give feedback and help develop the leaders on our team. Key responsibilities for which I am accountable for include: people management; fulfillment of customer requirements, technical oversight, product development planning, and stakeholder relationship management. I manages, issues, resource needs and risks impacting the group, team priorities and roadmap communicates and partners with R&D leaders. I am also accountable for overall team performance and development, delivering high product quality in a timely fashion, attracting talent, and minimizing unwanted turnover.
