IT Director of Risk and Compliance Provides strategic oversight and management of HealthPartners’ IT Compliance and Risk Programs and Quality Engineering Program; ensuring an annual minimum 5% reduction threshold in HealthPartners’ IT risk posture, addressing vulnerabilities, aligning HealthPartners Information technology control structure to regulatory requirements, and assessing risk across IT Governance, Solution Delivery, Operations, Architecture, and Cyber Security. HealthPartners has over employees, 700 IT Employees, 90+ clinics and hospitals, and health insurance in 6 states. Key Achievements:• Designed, developed, and implemented HealthPartners Security Vendor Assessment Program; ensuring business partners had the appropriate information to make informed decisions regarding the security risk to patient and member data.• Developed and directed a team of leaders who own and manage IT’s Risk Mitigation Program, PCI Compliance Management Program, Risk Methodology and Management, Vendor Risk Management, IT Audit Management, and IT Compliance Management• Collaborated and designed IT governance functions across all IT services.• Proposed and managed an initiative to redesign HealthPartners IT Service Delivery Strategy.• Lead department’s roadmap towards instituting quality development practices and standards, performance engineering, and quality assurance. • Enabled a performance engineering program that collaborated across development that led to an increase in HealthPartners web site baseline performance to 99.38%.
