ABOUT TERESA T. IRIANTO
Hi! I’m Teresa, a doctoral researcher in natural sciences specialising in tumour immunology at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. My work focuses on cancer radio-immunotherapy, exploring how radiotherapy, immune checkpoint inhibition, and novel vaccines can enhance systemic anti-tumour immunity. I am privileged to have academic-minded parents to guide and support my early passion and curiosity that drive my creativity for problem solving. I always say I was raised in Indonesia and grew up in Germany, where I’ve spent my whole adult life. Away from my comfort zone, I managed to develop my own ways of living, which have shaped who I am today. As I approach the completion of my PhD, I’m open to opportunities both in academia and industry, in Germany or abroad, where I can contribute my expertise in cancer immunology, experimental design, and collaborative research.
