Teresa Hamilton, PhD, RN, CNE is the Associate Dean for the Division of Undergraduate and Prelicensure Nursing and a tenured Professor in the College of Nursing at California Baptist University. She teaches theoretical foundations and specializes in the humanbecoming paradigm authored by Dr. Rosemarie Rizzo Parse. As a leader, Dr. Hamilton aims to see the very best in people and their intentions while promoting their strengths so they are successful in attaining their professional goals. As an educator, she humbly facilitates life-long learning, supporting personal and professional growth and development. Dr. Hamilton has studied with Dr. Parse directly, who is a world-renowned nurse theorist. She contributes to the teaching-learning processes column in Nursing Science Quarterly and has authored manuscripts for that and other journals and chapters for several textbooks in the medical-surgical nursing field. Clinically, Dr. Hamilton previously worked as a Registered Nurse in adult acute and critical care, perioperative services caring for all ages, home health, and hospice. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International, International Consortium of Parse Scholars, and various other academic nursing organizations.

In the spring 2012 semester, I changed our processes and procedures outsourcing some confidential student information to a vendor in order to provide privacy and confidentiality for students and improve workflow.As the Skills Lab Director from Jan 08 through June 10, I was responsible for increasing lab space from 10 beds with two high fidelity and eight mid fidelity patient care simulator manikins to a creating a two story building with two ten bed units, a high fidelity suite with five high fidelity manikins, a 40-computer lab, and faculty office space. I was responsible for purchasing beds, supplies, manikins, making purchasing recommendations, collaborating with facilities and information technologies departments on campus, and ensuring smooth day to day teaching and student learning needs were met. I initiated and ran \"open\" lab hours for students to practice skills and receive help with studies.
