As an analyst with over 15 years of experience, I have supported various business functions and projects by producing data-driven insights and solutions. My core competencies include data mining, analysis, reporting, and visualization, using tools such as Power BI, Excel, Power Query, PowerPivot, and DAX. My latest educational endeavors to keep my skills up to date include a Business Analytics Nanodegree from Udacity and a Microsoft Office Specialist Excel 2016 certification. My undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting major.In my most recent roles, I designed and developed Power BI reports and dashboards for an IT department, a sales team, and an operations director, using predefined and custom datasets. I also created a data quality report for an ATS system, a sales report showing actuals to forecast results, and a Kanban report set for IT service support items and projects. I am passionate about digging into the data trying to find the insights that is hidden and telling compelling stories with data, and helping businesses improve their performance and processes. At present, I am open to Finance and Accounting roles in addition to Data Analyst roles in order to return to work. I am willing to relocate for the right permanent position.
