In addition to my responsibilities in leading Umicore Battery Materials\' Loyalist project through its suspension phase, I lead Umicore Battery Materials\' Global Commissioning organization, as well as a small team of Project Management, Engineering, Project Controls and Commissioning professionals who support Umicore Battery Materials\' strategic projects and central functions in Poland, Spain, and Belgium. My Commissioning organization is directly responsible to deliver the final project phase - from Construction Completion to Handover to Operations - for all strategic Battery Materials projects globally. We combine our organization\'s deep technical mastery with LEAN systems and tools for Continuous Improvement, Just in Time planning, Problem Solving, and strong collaboration across functions. In 2026, we are focused on the final phase of the €1B+ IONWAY joint venture project in Nysa, Poland.Among other global projects, my team\'s mandate is to strengthen Umicore\'s existing project organizations with further experience, mastery, standards, and systems. This enables on-time, on-budget execution of active global Umicore Battery Materials projects, and supporting central functions.
