Currently as a Technical Delivery Manager in the Technology Team, supporting implementation of multiple high complexity projects (e.g. ITV DSAT Multipex builds, proof of concepts, Arqade delivery), involving risk and resource management, creating and refining the project plan, engaging in change control and technical requirements management. This includes creation and winning business cases for project budget uplifts or initial budget agreements for projects up to £2.7M. As a Senior Transition Planning Manager (700MHz Programme - for release of UHF spectrum for 5G operators), with over 32 years of experience in Broadcasting and experienced in support of Large scale complex Programmes/Projects, Technical Transition Project Planning, Value & High Level System Engineering, Operational Management, as well as creation of technical documentation, leading Proof of Concept testing, product definition, feasibility and building business cases for introduction of positive change. As Principal Technical Architect for Broadcast Systems Terry was focused on Standardisation, Optimisation and System Development in order to reduce \'early life failures\', improve \'whole life\' TCO, improving overall availability and therefore delivering \'value add\' to the business. Taking a pre-emptive approach with emphasis on creating/clarifying and streamlining Processes, Work Instructions and Standards and a focus on collaborative problem management through regular communications, thus establishing (agreed) ownership within roles. This has enabled significant efficiency improvements and improved system resilience as well as significantly enhancing team performance. Focused delivery of agreed targets, in particular, a drive to timely completion. Ability to adapt to different requirements, quickly assimilate new information and apply as required. Experienced in taking the lead in virtual teams that deliver value to the business and in coordinating and planning their activities.
