   In my role as an SWE II, I collaborate with a small, cross-functional team to enhance the ML workflow for several teams in our group. Our primary goal is to improve the computation, reuse, and serving of features for risk detection models in Spark and risk aggregation models in.NET.# Co-lead of ML modernization project Co-lead a small cross functional effort to reduce time build and ship models. Focus areas: model management and delivery, feature management and computation across regionalized data at PB scale. Discovered, proposed, and implemented ONNX as the key technology to decouple ML training from the inflexible ML.NET training system. Empowered data scientists to train models in the framework and language of their choice, resulting in increased model performance (+2% precision,+5% recall) and reducing time to prod (-50%).# Intern mentor II, Feature Store Designed & managed intern project to evaluate and demo 2 open-source feature store projects. Afterwards, I built a prototype with the selected solution Feathr to demonstrate its business value to our engineering group. Implemented a different feature store in prod.
