ABOUT TEODORA POPA
Teodora Popa is a geneticist based in London, specialising in the genetics of human pre-implantation embryos and the application of artificial intelligence in IVF and women\'s health. She earned her BSc and MSc degrees in Human Genetics and Genomics from University College London (UCL), setting a strong foundation for her innovative research work. At the UCL Institute for Women\'s Health, Teodora is focused on integrating technology into IVF, working at the intersection between basic science and clinical medicine with the ultimate goal of improving patient experiences and outcomes. Her groundbreaking work merges healthcare with cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence and the metaverse. Beyond her research, Teodora is a fervent advocate for the encouragement of students and young girls in pursuing careers in bio-entrepreneurship, actively working to challenge and break stereotypes.
