ABOUT FABIO SINISCARCHIO
Fabio Siniscarchio is a Brazilian tenor whose artistry and passion for music have taken him across stages in Brazil, Italy, Switzerland, France, and the United States. His vocal studies began in 2006 under the guidance of tenor Benito Maresca. Fabio earned a degree in Music Education from the Adventist University of São Paulo (UNASP). His professional operatic debut came in 2011 as Tybalt in Roméo et Juliette at Theatro São Pedro, São Paulo. As a member of the Opera Studio at EMESP - Tom Jobim São Paulo State Music School in São Paulo (from 2011 to 2012), Fabio performed excerpts from iconic roles such as Rodolfo (La Bohème), Hoffmann (Les Contes d\'Hoffmann), Monostatos (Die Zauberflöte), and Don Curzio (Le Nozze di Figaro). His talent led him to the Academia de Ópera of Theatro São Pedro in 2013, where he performed in various concerts and recitals, with the guidance of luminaries such as Renato Bruson, Giovanna Casolla, and Gregory Kunde, etc. In 2014, Fabio moved to Italy to study voice with Luisa Giannini at the Conservatorio Statale di Musica \"Francesco Venezze\" di Rovigo. He collaborated with pianist Marco Ricciarelli, preparing roles such as Duca di Mantua (Rigoletto), Alfredo (La Traviata), Don José (Carmen), and Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni). Fabio performed at distinguished venues, including the Teatro Comunale di Rovigo and Abbazia della Vangadizza, and participated in a tribute concert for Mario Del Monaco’s centenary. In 2016, he received a scholarship to study at the Haute École de Musique de Genève as an Erasmus program student, where he delved into Baroque music under soprano Maria Diaconu and music coach Christine Gabrielle. Fabio performed selected arias by Italian composer Barbara Strozzi and participated in the interdisciplinary concert Fauvel au Cabaret Voltaire under Professor Francis Biggi. Recently, Fabio completed his Master of Music in Voice Performance at Andrews University, USA, where he studied with acclaimed tenor Charles Reid. At Andrews, he performed around the country with the Andrews University Singers and the Symphony Orchestra in various productions, such as Handel’s Messiah, Bach’s Magnificat, and more. As a graduate assistant, he also expanded his experience as a vocal educator on that campus. In the past year, Fabio has been involved in preparing for future auditions, giving private voice lessons while still serving partially as a Graduate Research Assistant, analyzing the archival manuscripts of art songs by American composer Blythe Owen under the guidance of music librarian Marianne Kordas.
