Attend and assist with tens of member events, meetings, and monthly organizing activities, providingdirect outreach to recruit new members and deepen engagement with existing members though direct community outreach like phone banking, one-on-ones, door-to-door, canvassing, and tabling.• Plan and host community events plus support ongoing advocacy efforts by attending meetings with stakeholders, elected officials, partners, and community leaders regarding local budget priorities and co-governance campaigns to advance the Young People’s Priorities.• Increase public engagement in local elections through candidate outreach, voter guidedevelopment, and voter engagement efforts.• Conduct in-depth research on local climate issues and support community civic and political education on the importance of local governance.• Attend local government meetings, providing feedback and analysis on policy decisions.
