About Tenney McClane

Creative facilitator of learning and cross cultural exchange. Driven by my love of people and social responsibility. Nature lover. Sound bath provider. Throughout the ebb and flow of my life, two things have remained constant- my desire to authentically connect with people from diverse linguistic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds and my unwavering desire to make a positive impact on their lives, no matter how small or big it may be. I have done the Peace Corps twice, lived in 5 different countries, traveled to over thirty other countries and have had a few rewarding career incarnations. Whether I am teaching English to new immigrants, designing vocational computer skill programs for at-risk youth, spearheading art therapy programs for women or educating people on sustainable fashion; as long as I am making a direct and measurable impact on peoples’ lives, I’m good. Throughout the course of my life, I have also developed a deep appreciation for self-care and acceptance of the importance of a healthy work/life balance- which for me means heading to nature for a swim or a hike at least once a week (even in the winter). I also aspire to inspire this balance in others which I do through giving sound baths with my healing crystal singing bowls (follow my IG @seagirlsound) and dressing up in resale fashion finds to promote body positivity (follow my IG @flymighty).
