Consults with internal and external clientele and employs additional system resources to review and enhance configuration for optimal customer satisfaction. • Quoted vacuum systems using surface & direct contact condensers, ejectors, process condensers and liquid ring pumps to serve upstream equipment such as food processing, deaerators, distillation units, test systems and so on. • Engineered multi-stage condenser/ejector/pump systems and consulted with customers to create solutions that best suited the end user\'s needs. • Sized shell & tube condensers using thermal dynamic equations and heat balances while optimizing the diameter, length, cooling water flow rate and pressure drop. • Designed liquid ring pump skids and general arrangement drawings with appropriate pipe sizes & lengths for transporting process vapor and pump service liquid. • Prepared cost estimates after reviewing specifications and designing the equipment. • Evaluated vendor proposals as they pertained to items such as low & medium voltage motors, liquid ring pumps, ejector, condensers, centrifugal pumps, sublet fabrication and so on.
