I am currently a Community Engagement Specialist with the GIRLS COALITION OF INDIANA INSPIRTED BY GIRL SCOUTS OF CENTRAL INDIANA. The vision of the IGC is that every girl in Indiana lives her best life physically, academically, emotionally, and socially. To work towards this vision, we have identified three bodies of work that the IGC will focus on: Understand the unique needs of girls in low-income communities, remove barriers that prevent girls in low-income households from benefiting from Girl Scouts, and become an integral part of the overall support system for girls within communities.
