Software Engineer at Microservice Platform Team @Mercari US

Create a platform where software developers can be creative and contribute to the delivery of innovative products to Mercari\'s user base. Duties and Responsibilities- Build a microservice platform based on Kubernetes - Act as a Kubernetes Cluster Admin - Develop and maintain tools and services that can improve the developing speed and reliability of microservices - Support the development and operation of highly-reliable microservices with full consideration of scalability and security - Proactively contribute to a rapidly growing product in a self-driven environment - Define the Mercari US microservice platform\'s networking architecture - Improve observability of microservices by operating and administrating tools such as stackdriver logging, grafana, prometheus, loki, and mimir- Improve management of cloud resources with code using Infrastructure-as-code tools- Improve platform management operation (Kubernetes cluster management)- Support developers who build microservices by providing guidelines, frameworks and review design documents- Provide on-call support to ensure system stability and security - Collaborate with team members including Product Managers, Data Scientists, Security Experts, Engineers and Quality Assurance Engineers to solve complex technical problems - Monitor infrastructure cost and practice fin-ops to systematically reduce cost across microservices.
