Lead and managed a team of three accountants, including selection/hiring, objective setting, performance management, coaching/development and training. Responsible for the monthly close as well as maintenance of all accounting ledgers including monthly review of all account reconciliations and journal entries. Monitor accounts for abnormal activity and review all exception reporting Take a lead role in development of procedures and settlements for new products. Work with internal and external auditors during reviews and audits to ensure full cooperation from accounting staff and compliance with all qualified requests. Implement Settlement’s Accounting Policies and procedures as well as interpret guidance in regards to accounting transactions. Ensure completion and review of all balance sheet reconciliations and identify and communicate findings. Undertake special and new projects to generate process improvement and efficiency.
