Responsible for the efficient and effective administration of all aspects of operations related to library services which include policy, planning, and assessment; staff organization and development; fiscal planning and management; and services such as library instruction; collection development, and technical services; faculty, student, and administrative relations; and the application of library technology to operations and services. Prepare and administer the annual library department budget of less than half a million dollars. Manages the development and assessment of the collection to ensure support of the college community\'s college curriculum and teaching and learning needs. Administers, manages, plans, organizes, and maintains the processes and operations of library technical services, including Acquisitions, Cataloging, Serials, Electronic Resources, Website, User Experience, and Integrated Library System (ILS). Supports student success through leading the planning, implementation, assessment, development, and promotion of information literacy and library instruction programs consistent with the American Library Association and Association of College and Research Libraries Framework. Develop and implement interactive library instruction modules within the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS), providing support to faculty and students. Utilize instructional design principles to create engaging and accessible content for virtual and embedded librarian services seamlessly integrated into Canvas courses. Collaborate closely with faculty members, to ensure seamless incorporation of information literacy skills into curricula to enhance student learning outcomes. Evaluate the effectiveness of these modules through data analysis and feedback from both faculty and students to continuously improve the learning experience.
