As a Counselor my main objectives are: • To provide professional and academic advisement to students interested in an academic program of study. • To evaluate transcripts when necessary, assisting students in following the appropriate program of study to ensure graduation from Hinds CC and/or transferring to a senior level college or university. • To assist students during registration by enrolling them in the appropriate courses based on their current program of study. • To provide confidential personal counseling to individuals when needed.
