ABOUT TEJENDRA SINGH

I am a socially driven professional with an academic foundation in Public Administration (B.A. & M.A. from BBAU, Lucknow) and a Master’s in Social Work from Delhi School of Social Work, University of Delhi. My academic and field experiences reflect a deep commitment to public service, participatory governance, and inclusive development.My journey began with the National Service Scheme (NSS), which cultivated my grassroots engagement, leadership, and volunteer spirit. This early exposure inspired my transition into social work to work more closely with marginalized communities and drive change from the ground up.I have contributed to various community-centered initiatives: At Aashray Adhikar Abhiyan, I conducted outreach, documentation, awareness, and facilitated homeless access to shelters and welfare schemes. At Chetanalaya (Sangam Vihar ), I worked on women\'s empowerment, SHG formation, child education support, and slum community mobilization. During my block placement with PRADAN (Churchu block, Jharkhand), I engaged in rural development initiatives, tribal outreach, LoP (Left-out Poor) identification, and micro-planning exercises.I bring a unique blend of policy understanding and field-level insight, aiming to bridge the gap between administrative frameworks and ground realities. My core interests include rural development, livelihood promotion, community organization, and governance reforms.I’m looking to collaborate with individuals and organizations passionate about social impact, development governance, and grassroots empowerment.
