Every soul has an objective in life, it is their constraints and decision variables that determine their outcomes.As an inquisitive analyst, I am intrigued by the myriad of business possibilities that data presents. My interests are operations, data mining, predictive modeling, and data visualization. I believe that every complex problem has a simple solution when reinforced with right data.Right through under graduation-majoring in engineering and my prior work experience, I learnt to analyze the outcomes of every implementation and the importance of quality gates and processes. I developed excellent analytical skills and bettered my problem-solving abilities. Working with diverse customers and colleagues helped me enhance my people skills and collaborative skills.My graduate program-majoring in business analytics strengthened my analytical thinking and equipped me with data management skills including, • Preprocessing and analyzing large data sets and building deterministic and stochastic models for decision making using advanced Excel• Performing advanced statistical analysis to determine trends and periodicity significant data relationships• Data Mining concepts such as decision trees, random forests, linear regression, neural networks, clustering using AzureML • Data Warehousing skills such as slicing and dicing data, and OLAP querying • Creating dashboards to visualize the analysis using Tableau and PythonMy short-term career goal is to leverage on my experience to form a sound cognizance that will allow me to think laterally, create and implement well thought out ideas at a macro level.
