ABOUT TEJASS KAUSHIK
What if the next breakthrough in tech doesn’t come from Silicon Valley, but from a high school student with a vision?Hi, I’m Tejas Kaushik, a passionate student at Assumption College Catholic High School with an unwavering drive for technology, leadership, and innovation. As an aspiring computer scientist and entrepreneur, I’m on a mission to turn bold ideas into real-world solutions—leveraging code, creativity, and curiosity to make a lasting impact. This summer, I’m honoured to be attending the Harvard Undergraduate Ventures-TECH Summer Program (HUVTSP) and the Waterloo Catalyst Program, where I’ll be surrounded by visionary student innovators, building companies, solving problems, and sharpening my entrepreneurial mindset. From launching ventures to pitching top tech stocks, I’ve built my journey around taking initiative, embracing challenge, and pushing boundaries. Whether through building apps, presenting global health research, or exploring the intersection of AI and social good, I’m passionate about using technology as a force for equity and progress. In finance, I placed top 7 nationally in the Financial Portfolio Challenge, and pitched NVIDIA at a national stock competition. I’ve also taught dozens of students how to evaluate companies, follow macroeconomic trends, and think like investors. In research, I serve as a High School Investigator at Youreka Canada, where my team is analyzing the link between adolescent fertility and pediatric ART access across Sub-Saharan Africa. We placed third regionally, qualified for nationals, and I won the national 3-Minute Thesis (3MT) Challenge for effectively communicating our findings.Outside of academics, I stay active through wrestling, badminton—challenging both my mind and body to grow stronger each day.At the core of everything I do is a desire to lead with purpose, innovate with impact, and inspire others to do the same.Let’s connect—and build the future together.
