About Tejas Oza

I have more than 11 years of experience in the field of life sciences/microbiology/biotechnology, which includes laboratory management, research, quality assessment, and academics. Research Experience helped me gain: Molecular biology techniques (PCR, PCR-RFLP, Blotting, RT-PCR, ELISA), Enzymology (Solid state and submerged fermentation of Bacteria and Fungi for production and optimization of commercially important enzymes and their application studies. Metagenomics of respiratory infected poultry birds for their Virome analysis (Total RNA/DNA Virus analysis). Currently, I am associated with molecular diagnosis of human respiratory specimens for their RT-PCR and ELISA along with genomic analysis of actinobacteria genome of newly isolated strain. Further, during my professional tenure, I have gained experience in Method development, protocol establishment, and result analysis with all possible troubleshooting to minimize errors and gain the most reliable results. I have been also a part of and supervised the purchase and procurement process for major equipment and consumables for laboratory and project requirements. Performed and monitored Internal and External quality standards for molecular diagnostic specimens and kits. I have been a part of institutional committees for assessment processes of NAAC, NABL, PCI, and UGC for either form of institutional recognition.
