I work on collecting and understanding data and trends for a variety of transportation-related metrics including safety, congestion, and air quality.I use these data and others to help rank and score projects that are submitted to the TIP Solicitation for federal funding. This work helps determine which projects ARC will select for funding.More recently, I have begun working on climate-related planning efforts: A Transportation Carbon Reduction Plan that aims to identify the best solutions to reducing greenhouse gas emissions from the transportation sector, and a Transportation Resilience Improvement Plan that aims to help metro Atlanta adapt our infrastructure to more extreme rains, floods, and temperatures.
