Analyze business requirements and design documents- Preparation of test plan and development of test cases based on business requirements- Documenting and tracking the requirements, test cases, and defects using Microsoft Test Manager and Team Foundation Server- Testing the stability of the application on multiple browsers and platforms- Work closely with business/product owners, designers, project managers, development, and QA teams to understand and define requirements- Help development & QA teams to perform unit testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)- Monitor applications on production servers and help to identify root causes of any application issues- Ensure that appropriate methodologies, standards, procedures, and guidelines are implemented, and the team is made aware of their importance and trained in their use- Ensure that identified faults are rectified and that the chance of recurrence is minimized- Take corrective actions to address the root cause of the identified fault to design quality into the process, and may include updating the quality control activities to better identify faults- Train and mentor QA staff by giving consistent and ongoing feedback related to documentation, testing, and group communication
