About Tejal Mahashabde
Over the last 10 + years, I have transitioned from being a researcher to a strategist. My entrepreneurial mindset has enabled me to learn about leading teams, consulting, thinking from the client’s perspective when designing a solution, growing business, and nurturing partnerships. I have enjoyed each highs and lows of this journey and am always excited about what is yet to happen :) I have never settled for a ‘status quo’, for any stereotypical notions neither in my professional life nor in my personal life. I strive for challenges, navigating uncertainties, exploring the unknowns and continuous learning. If I knew everything, what would be the point of living? This perspective reflects in my work and has remained as an influencing factor. I spent a significant amount of time decoding people’s behavior, how systems function, and how to strengthen capacities of systems to deliver people-first solutions. This has helped me in understanding inter-linkages between a system and the users and how we cannot look at them in isolation. My work spans across domains such as education, digital health, SBCC, public delivery services, capacity building, and empowerment of young adolescents. I have led teams working on pan-India projects, nurtured relationships with state and central government entities, private sector companies, NGOs, and startups.
