ABOUT TEJAL DESAI

I am a transactional and litigation attorney representing clients on a wide range of litigation and transactional matters. My vast litigation experience gives me a unique insight into my transactional work that most transactional lawyers don’t possess. I am able to help clients troubleshoot potential problems ahead of time, often saving clients thousands of dollars in the process by being better protected from future disputes. On the transactional side, I represent clients handling commercial real estate leasing, sales and acquisitions, loan origination/documentation for both private investors and national lenders, corporate transactions and governance, contract drafting/negotiation, and corporate construction matters. My clients include private individuals and investors, small and large businesses, developers, construction companies, national retail tenants and large financial institutions.In addition to my transactional practice, I have spent a significant portion of my career as a litigator where I represents clients in loan workouts, enforcement of remedies under loan documents, contested Chapter 11 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings, lien priority disputes, title disputes, breach of contract disputes and mechanic\'s lien litigation.
