About Tejal Pawar
Don\'t let the world become a habit\" Something that I strongly believe and constantly strive to follow Having said that, let me introduce myself. I am Tejal Pawar, a graduate from IIT Bombay. I was born and brought up by very hardworking parents who built everything from zero to one for us, in a town called Jalgaon in Maharashtra. Given this, I was always given opportunities to become a very independent personality. After joining IIT Bombay, it presented me with plenty of opportunities. My sole goal during the time was to work on knowing myself better in multiple aspects of life and focus on personal growth. During this whole time, I was part of the institute basketball team and that played a very important role in my college life. It helped me to handle stress, be a team player, take lead, be empathetic, and many other things. Professionally, I explored different areas like working in strategy, marketing, HR in early stage startups or more established startups and volunteering at NGOs. Each of these experiences taught me skills professionally required at the same time helped me understand life and develop my views and personality around it. I went on semester Exchange in Politecnico Di Milano and that changed my life around. Gave me a very broad perspective to life, made me more confident and is definitely the best period of my college life. It was December 2021, I came across Product Management, and that grabbed my eye. Owing to my interest in psychology and business, PM seemed a promising area to start my career with. It was during the placement season of my college that I finally got to get a little deeper into Product and I fell in love with it more for so many reasons. I targeted only PM roles and landed on the APM program of flipkart. Looking forward to exploring PM with flipkart now. Other than this, I keep working on self projects out of curiosity and love for the “kick” that work gives :P.
