Transforming Child Care Institutions. Empowering Every Child. HUManity Foundation is a grassroots non-profit working towards the holistic development of children living in Child Care Institutions (CCIs) across India. What began in 2019 in Visakhapatnam as a small initiative has now grown into a movement impacting over 1700 children across 13+ CCIs in Vizag and Hyderabad. Our mission is simple but powerful: to bridge the gaps that children in CCIs face—whether it’s access to digital learning, quality education, emotional support, or basic health and nutrition. We do this by designing long-term, volunteer-led programs in close partnership with CCI authorities, government departments, and corporate supporters. What We Do We focus on four key areas of a child’s development: 1. Education Development Structured academic support that aligns with the school curriculum, delivered through a mix of online and offline classes. Digital Literacy & AI Basic digital literacy and early exposure to Artificial Intelligence concepts, helping children step confidently into a digital-first world. Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Volunteer-led weekend activities that build empathy, communication, confidence, and emotional awareness among children. Health & Nutrition Regular health checkups, fitness sessions, and access to balanced nutrition, in collaboration with health experts and local partners.
