I’m a frontend-leaning full-stack engineer who prefers to treat UI as product—not decoration. Before software, I worked in video production and interactive media, where pacing, storytelling, and audience empathy weren’t “nice to haves”—they were the job. That background still shows up in how I build—especially on teams that value craft and clarity: clear flows, intentional details, and experiences that feel cohesive.Over the last 5+ years, I’ve built secure, scalable apps across React/Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript under real constraints: performance, reliability, and “this has to work Monday morning.” I’ve also worked in fintech/payments (incl. ISO 20022), so I’m comfortable in regulated environments where correctness and security are non-negotiable.I made the career transition deliberately (self-taught → interviewed into a competitive full-time engineering program), then taught/mentored as a PERN instructor while shipping production work—Salesforce-integrated tooling, and payments-enabled platforms with auth, dashboards, and admin workflows. I’m comfortable owning a feature end-to-end: discovery → architecture → UI → APIs → data → tests → deployment → docs.Outside of work, I build “real systems” to stay sharp—most recently a privacy-first edge AI home security stack (Home Assistant + Frigate) with RTSP IP cameras, MQTT eventing, and hardware-accelerated inference—plus the runbooks to keep it maintainable.ALSO, I see LLMs as a learning accelerator—tailoring explanations to my learning style, then following up with primary sources to validate details and guard against hallucinations. I\'ve also been experimenting with agentic workflows for code generation and automation on personal projects, prioritizing spec-driven agentic workflow development, reproducibility, code review, and tests to validate changes.
