About Teesta Mukherjee
Teesta is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in social impact and sustainable development across India and the UK. She co-founded a climate-tech startup in the UK and has spearheaded multiple collaborations with companies, non-profits, and startups in India, consistently driving impactful solutions that balance purpose with profitability. Currently, Teesta is focused on improving traceability and transparency within the manufacturing and textile industry through ProcureCircular\'s SaaS marketplace that provides LCA and Scope-3 based project reporting to brands and manufacturers. As a part of the team, she has also helped redirect over kilos of waste from the landfills.She holds an MSc in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where she was honoured with the prestigious Chevening Scholarship to pursue this programme in London. Before joining ProcureCircular, Teesta was at the forefront in creating social impact for underserved communities across India. She has extensive experience at the grassroots, led a Ed-Tech portfolio, designed innovative solutions for low-cost and government schools, and implemented global sustainability volunteering programs for various geographies in Tata Communications. Additionally, she has driven measurable improvements in student learning outcomes with government school teachers and principals and worked in the CEO’s office at Primal Foundation. In addition to her work above, Teesta has played a key role in managing communications portfolios both as an independent consultant and across private companies and non-profits. When not working, she continues to talk about sustainability and just transition for the Global-south.
