About Teeghyn Lowry

I am currently an Consultant for Arizona Public Service Company, and a graduate of the Master\'s of Accountancy program at the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. I previously worked as an Auditor for the State of Arizona Office of the Auditor General. In my current role, I have been involved with new system testing and implementation, process improvement and documentation, reporting efficiency, month-end close for Capital and O&M, monthly capital and O&M analysis and reporting, capital and O&M budgeting and long range forecasting, GL charging practice cleanup, Energy Imbalance Market participation analysis, and various ad hoc analyses to support my business unit.I am an alumnus of Beta Alpha Psi, national honorary organization for Accountancy, Finance, and Information Systems majors, and I previously served as Vice President of my chapter. I am also a brother of Kappa Kappa Psi, Beta Omicron Chapter; honorary band fraternity, and an alumnus of the Sun Devil Marching Band and Sun Devil Athletic Bands.During my undergrad, I was a member of New Venture Group, a consulting management group at Arizona State University. With NvG, I have worked with Parenting Arizona to build a pricing model and analyze their potential market for fee-based services. I have also worked with Honeywell to analyze and improve their invoice holding system as well as how they may employ Crystal Reports to improve communication and processes on all management levels within the company. I completed my Barrett Honors Thesis with ASU Lightworks to understand the U.S. Department of Energy Grant Lightworks received to develop a sustainable business model and collaborative network.Specialties: Spreadsheet analysis and compilation in Excel; Compilation and Analysis of financial statements; Organization; Systems navigation and querying including Maximo, PowerPlan, MLIS, and Hyperion; SharePoint website creation and management including HTML coding experience; Access Database building and querying; New systems implementations.
