ABOUT TIBERIU WEISZ

I am a patent attorney with 10 years of experience as an engineer and 30 years of experience in intellectual property protection. I work closely with inventors of small, medium and large size companies, to develop a strategy to protect and monetize their intellectual property. My practice is primarily in the fields of medical devices, consumer and automotive electronics, entertainment (television and broadcasting) as well as textile and paper manufacturing. I also provide opinions regarding patent infringement and participate in strategic planning related to intellectual property. I am fascinated with technology and how start-up and small companies contribute to the advancement of technology. My preference is to get involved closely with the inventors so that I can advice them about IP issues at an early stage, since IP is usually the main asset of any technology-based company. I have lectured extensively all over the world about IP protection.
