Over 600 employees received a pay increase as a result. – worked with HR teammate to rework job descriptions, scale and combine descriptions. Worked through several business unit or function reorgs./- Developed Safety Committees at three locations in PA in concert with safety stand-downs in an effort to promote safety improvements from the floor-level upward. Functional process areas are represented in each and each team member represents his or her functional area as well as promotes safety and creates buy-in from fellow shop employees. – our HCM does not support a point system, so point system is maintained on an excel spreadsheet with pivot charts and tables. Improved attendance numbers and an awareness of the negative effect absenteeism has on teammates. – worked to develop, launch and continuously improve the summer internship program. We hosted three interns in the first summer and seven in the second. Internship responsibility was from development of program to recruitment of interns to maintaining relationship with the interns before, during, and after the internship. at the Pennsylvania College of Technology. There will be a total of three endowed scholarships at PCT available to associates and bachelors students in several majors and programs.
