About Ted Nesheim

Ted works with clients to evaluate tax opportunities, assist with planning, and provide design input and oversight on technology solutions for fixed assets related matters. He advises clients on qualifying, quantifying, claiming and sustaining investment tax credits; characterization of tangible assets and associated expenditures; tax accounting for tangible property transactions; evaluating fixed asset accounting methods to maximize cash flow and basis eligible for investment tax credit; claiming repair deductions; and segregating costs for accelerated depreciation deductions. Ted’s focus on planning, implementation and audit defense of complex, coordinated projects spans a wide array of industries including utilities, oil and gas, real estate, retail, technology, telecommunications, leasing, healthcare providers, financial services and consumer & industrial products manufacturing. In addition to Ted’s Federal Tax Planning experience, he also has helped clients with Tax Provision Preparation and review under ASC 740, Federal Tax Compliance, and IRS exam defense.
