I have built and currently lead and work with an international team of inside and outside attorneys as Lucid has expanded its global sales, service, facilities, and manufacturing footprints. My current role includes: Building and managing a team of in-house real estate and construction attorneys; Building and managing a global team of outside attorneys and firms; Counseling senior executives, and business teams, on various real estate, construction and other legal matters; Oversee and assist the drafting and negotiation of leases and other real estate and construction agreements in North America, Europe, and the Middle East for studios, service centers, headquarters and other office facilities, and manufacturing facilities (including for our factory in Saudi Arabia); Drafting and negotiation of other contracts including for global master services, construction services, design services, brokerage, satellite service centers, and various ancillary real estate and construction agreements; Managing due diligence, including environmental and title reports, and surveys; Overseeing the handling and resolution of construction and real estate related disputes and various pressing lease and construction issues; Providing ongoing advice and counsel to internal business partners in retail development, manufacturing, facilities, and operations; Leading international meetings on various legal and business matters; Preparing and managing budgets and billing of global outside counsel firms and other outside service providers; Overseeing and assisting with the implementation of various programs and processes related to both the real estate and construction legal team and the wider legal team; Managing the creation and implementation of various reporting, tracking and template documents. I led the assemblage for purchase/sale leaseback of ~1,400 acres of land adjacent to our current factory in Arizona and managed purchase of original 496-acre AZ factory site.
