About Teddy Yewdell
My lab at Genentech is focused on understanding how B cells contribute to various inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, including IBD, MS and lupus. The lab\'s current research interests are focused on understanding the basic biology of plasma cells and memory B cells in healthy and diseased tissues, the development of precision B cell depletion therapies with the ability to achieve \"immune reset\"(including CAR-T cells and T cell-dependent bispecifics), and applying novel technologies to study the genesis and development of autoreactive antibodies.
