About Ted Southern
I am proud to be working on space suits for NASA today, but my career path has been exciting and unpredictable. After graduating with a degree in classical music performance, I found a passion for invention and building for the body. I spent a decade in New York City in costuming and special effects before starting my own business making advanced space suits for NASA. I sold my business, Final Frontier Design, to Paragon Space Development Corporation in 2022, after 12 years. This is perhaps my biggest accomplishment, and has proven incredibly gratifying and rewarding.I am interested in solving big problems and saving the world through science and technology. My current interest is in the world of nanotechnology.
