Establishing a research program analyzing secondary data from the well-established Chicago Health and Aging Project (CHAP). The CHAP study is a longitudinal study of 10,802 African Americans (63%) and European Americans (37%) from Chicago’s south side performed from 1993 to 2012. CHAP’s primary objective was to study the epidemiology of common chronic health conditions, including Alzheimer’s disease and associated disorders.• Providing services to the division and academic fields, including as an editorial board member for BMC Geriatrics and a guest associate editor on a special issue on Frontiers in Public Health, invited reviewer for more than 20 leading journals in Alzheimer\'s, geriatrics, psychiatry, and medicine, and invited reviewer for grant proposals.
