ABOUT SHAWN OMSTEAD
I have over 30 years of experience in creating and launching innovative products and services for the telecommunications industry, with a focus on video, internet, and WiFi solutions to millions of customers. I have a proven track record of leading product teams, developing product strategies, and negotiating strategic partnerships with world-class vendors. I have also contributed to the growth and success of Canada\'s largest telecommunications company, Bell, where I spearheaded the development and launch of Fibe TV, North America\'s highest-rated TV app, Fibre internet products, Fixed wireless internet, and the first operator cloud-based whole home WiFi solution. I am also a leukemia AML survivor and a bone marrow transplant recipient. This experience has taught me to appreciate life, overcome challenges, and pursue my passion. I am grateful to my brother, who saved my life by being a perfect match.
