Tim DiPietropolo is the President & COO of Overseas Shipholding Group (OSG), based in Tampa, FL. OSG is a leading provider of energy transportation services, delivering crude oil, petroleum products, and renewable fuels throughout the world. Operating one of the industry\'s safest, cleanest, and most reliable fleets has positioned OSG as a preferred cargo carrier of major oil and gas companies, refiners, and traders worldwide. Tim earned a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies and a minor in Latin American/Caribbean affairs from the U.S. Naval War College. He also earned an MBA and MIM from the University of Maryland Global College and has over 25+ years of experience in the maritime industry. Tim graduated from the United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) in Kings Point, NY, with a Bachelor’s in Marine Transportation, where he was trained to serve as an officer in the U.S. Armed Forces and the transportation industry. He still embodies the leadership strategies he learned at this prestigious academy.Finally, he has dedicated 24+ years in the U.S. Navy Reserve. As a Captain, he is held to the highest standards of conduct and integrity. His extensive work experience during his military career has included working with senior leaders of the Joint Staff – Logistics Directorate, U.S. Maritime Administration, Military Sealift Command, U.S. Fleet Forces Command, U.S. Transportation Command, U.S. Central Command and Defense Logistics Agency, and U.S. Southern Command.
