ABOUT THOMAS CLAYTON

Tom has started and run numerous tech companies. He\'s now President & COO of Aura - the leader online digital safety and security. Prior to Aura, he was the COO of Peek - the leader in travel vertical SaaS software - building the Shopify of experiences. Prior to Peek, he was the CRO of Bill.com, one of the fastest growing fintech and SaaS public companies in the world. Before that, he was an early exec at Houzz, where he built all the International Operations globally from scratch. Previously, as the CEO of Bubbly, the Singapore-based company backed by Sequoia and other prominent investors, he built it into a leader in mobile social media across Asia with 250M+ users. Prior to running Bubbly, Tom was GM of the Mobile Business at BEA Systems, an enterprise software company acquired by Oracle for $8.5B. Before BEA, Tom helped start four different companies. At his last startup, Bang Networks, another Sequoia-backed networking software company, he helped build out the BD and sales organizations. Tom’s other startups ranged from an ecommerce-focused SI to a high-end audio manufacturer. Tom has been an active contributing writer in the past to many tech blogs, including: TechCrunch, The Next Web, Forbes, Wired, Huffington Post, TechInAsia, and e27. He also has been an active mentor, advisor or board director for a dozen startups across Asia and the US. Prior to Tom’s professional career, he was actually an All-American boxer and won the Bronze Medal at the U.S. National Championships.
