ABOUT TERRENCE JOHNSON

My name is Terrence Johnson; I am an energetic young professional who is seeking to impact the youth by way of education and extra curricular activities. I am seeking employment where I can interact with youth and share my experiences to help them get to where they want to be in their futures. I believe that education and extra curricular activities are the key to a students success and growth in character and knowledge.I recently graduated from the University of Indianapolis August of 2014 with a General Studies degree. I am from Gary Indiana but also went to school in Muncie. In my time at the University of Indianapolis I have competed in track and field. My efforts on the track have made me a Great Lakes Valley Conference All-Conference athlete and also a NCAA National qualifier. I am also the 2013 Homecoming King and a speaker at the 2012 and 2013 Indiana Association for Health Physical Education Reaction and Dance state conference. I have worked for University in the office of admissions, as Orientation leader, and as student leader over the past four years. In addition to my extra-circulars I was also awarded the University of Indianapolis Outstanding Physical Educator Award in 2012. With my spare time I find time to do community service with several on campus organizations including the Black Student Association and the Laurel wood Project.
