About T. C. Doyle

I am a writer, editor and video storyteller who has covered the IT industry for more than two decades for media companies and one of the industry’s largest technology giants. In May 2015 I joined Penton as the Senior Content Director for the company\'s Channel brands, including The VAR Guy, Talkin’ Cloud and MSPmentor. Previously I worked as an executive editor at Channel Partners, an Informa Exhibitions media brand. As Editor@Large with Cisco before that, I collaborated on “Doing Both,” a thought-leadership book that made the bestseller lists of both The New York Times and Amazon.com. I also traveled the world for Cisco in search of stories that captured the social and technological transformations occurring in the economies of Africa, Latin America, the Middle East and Eastern Europe. A former analyst with Amazon Consulting, I also worked as the executive editor of VARBusiness Magazine. There I managed a staff of reporters and wrote about go-to-market strategies and partnerships in the IT industry. I\'ve been been a frequent speaker at IT industry events and trade shows, and am the author of more than technology news articles, columns, features and profiles.
