At DoorDash, I have had a chance to work with many areas of the product and tech stack, and help onboard many new engineers. My biggest accomplishment has been launching and iterating on DoorDash Drive, our delivery fulfillment platform which is the fastest growing area of DoorDash. Android • Designed a scale-able architecture, using the MVP pattern, Managers (data abstraction layer), RxJava, and Kotlin • Achieved high unit test coverage by leveraging Dagger (dependency injection) and Mockito • Built a variety of features, including delivery tracking in the Consumer app, and in-app map and delivery signature collection in the Dasher app Backend • Launched many high-impact features in our Python Django monolith, including Dasher incentive programs, automated API partner on-boarding, catering support live order monitoring • Migrated Drive platform data and business logic to a new Kotlin Spring microservice • Built the machine learning pipeline for our delivery time estimator on Drive platform using an open source python library (auto_ml)
